Office of Justice Programs justice assistance For an additional amount for “Justice Assistance”, $150,000,000, to remain available until expended, for grants authorized by chapter A of subpart 2 of part E of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, as amended, notwithstanding the limitations of section 511 of said Act: Provided, That such funds shall be available only for the cost of the salaries and benefits, excluding overtime payments, resulting from the hiring of additional sworn law enforcement personnel.
