PAYMENTS TO BE MADE BY THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE.
SEC. 11101. PAYMENTS TO BE MADE BY THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. (a) Relating to Corrected Calculations for Past Retirement COLAs.— In addition to any other payments required under section 8348(m) of title 5, United States Code, or any other provision of law, the United States Postal Service shall pay into the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund a total of $693,000,000, of which— (1) at least one-third shall be paid not later than September 30, 1996; (2) at least two-thirds shall be paid not later than September 30, 1997; and (3) any remaining balance shall be paid not later than September 30, 1998. (b) Relating to Corrected Calculations for Past Health Benefits.— In addition to any other payments required under section 8906(g)(2) of title 5, United States Code, or any other provision of law, the United States Postal Service shall pay into the Employees Health Benefits Fund a total of $348,000,000, of which— (1) at least one-third shall be paid not later than September 30,1 996; (2) at least two-thirds shall be paid not later than September 30, 1997; and (3) any remaining balance shall be paid not later than September 30, 1998.
