SEC. 421. AUTHORIZATION OF TRAINING STUDENT LOADS. (a) In General.— For fiscal year 1996, the components of the Armed Forces are authorized average military training loads as follows: (1) The Army, 75,013. (2) The Navy, 44,238. (3) The Marine Corps, 26,095. (4) The Air Force, 33,232. (b) Scope.— The average military training student loads authorized for an armed force under subsection (a) apply to the active and reserve components of that armed force. (c) Adjustments.— The average military training student loads authorized in subsection (a) shall be adjusted consistent with the end strengths authorized in subtitles A and B. The Secretary of Defense shall prescribe the manner in which such adjustments shall be apportioned.
