SEC. 275. MODIFICATION TO UNIVERSITY RESEARCH INITIATIVE SUPPORT PROGRAM. Section 802 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1994 (Public Law 103–160; 107 Stat. 1701) is amended— (1) in subsections (a) and (b), by striking out “shall” both places it appears and inserting in lieu thereof “may”; and (2) in subsection (e), by striking out the sentence beginning with “Such selection process”.
