SEC. 715. TRAINING IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION FOR TRICARE LEAD AGENTS. (a) Provision of Training.— Not later than six months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall implement a professional educational program to provide appropriate training in health care management and administration— (1) to each commander of a military medical treatment facility of the Department of Defense who is selected to serve as a lead agent to coordinate the delivery of health care by military and civilian providers under the TRICARE program; and (2) to appropriate members of the support staff of the treatment facility who will be responsible for daily operation of the TRICARE program. (b) Report on Implementation.— Not later than six months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to Congress a report describing the professional educational program implemented pursuant to this section.
