SEC. 2813. TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO WAIVE NET FLOOR AREA LIMITATION FOR FAMILY HOUSING ACQUIRED IN LIEU OF CONSTRUCTION. Section 2824(c) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: “The Secretary concerned may waive the limitation set forth in the preceding sentence to family housing units acquired under this section during the five-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1996.”.
