SEC. 840. INDIAN RESERVATION EXTENSION AGENT PROGRAM. Section 1677 of the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990 (7 U.S.C. 5930) is amended— (1) by redesignating subsection (f) as subsection (g); and (2) by inserting after subsection (e) the following: “(f) Reduced Regulatory Burden.— On a determination by the Secretary of Agriculture that a program carried out under this section has been satisfactorily administered for not less than 2 years, the Secretary shall implement a reduced reapplication process for the continued operation of the program in order to reduce regulatory burdens on participating university and tribal entities.”.
