AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 749. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. (a) In General.— Section 338 of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 1988) is amended— (1) by striking subsections (b), (c), (d), and (e); and (2) by redesignating subsection (f) as subsection (b). (b) Conforming Amendments.— (1) The first sentence of section 309(g)(1) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 1929(g)(1)) is amended by inserting after “section 338(c)” the following: “(before the amendment made by section 749(a)(1) of the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996)”. (2) Section 343(b) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 1991(b)) is amended by striking “338(f),” and inserting “338(b),”.
