SEC. 6029. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. (a) Authorization.— There are authorized to be appropriated $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1988 to carry out the provisions of this subchapter. (b) Use of Funds.— Amounts appropriated pursuant to subsection (a) shall be available for making awards under section 6027, for administrative expenses, for necessary travel by teachers selected under section 6027, and for special activities related to carrying out the provisions of this subchapter.
