DEFINITIONS.

SEC. 6049. DEFINITIONS. As used in this chapter— (1) The term “elementary school” has the same meaning given that term under section 198(a)(7) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. (2) The term “eligible partnership” means— (A) a local educational agency or an institution of higher education, or both, and (B) business concerns, community-based organizations, nonprofit private organizations, museums, libraries, educational television and radio stations, and if the State agrees to participate, appropriate State agencies. (3) The term “institution of higher education” has the same meaning given that term by section 481(a)(1) of the Higher Education Act of 1965. (4) The term “secondary school” has the same meaning given that term under section 198(a)(7) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.
