SEC. 1207. EXTENSION OF BINDING CONTRACT DATE FOR BIOMASS AND COAL FACILITIES. (a) In General.— Subparagraph (A) of section 29(g)(1) (relating to extension of certain facilities) is amended by striking “January 1, 1997” and inserting “July 1, 1998” and by striking “January 1, 1996” and inserting “January 1, 1997”. (b) Effective Date.— The amendment made by this section shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act.
