SEC. 2102. FAMILY HOUSING. (a) Construction and Acquisition.— Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2104(a)(5)(A), the Secretary of the Army may construct or acquire family housing units (including land acquisition) at the installations, for the purposes, and in the amounts set forth in the following table: Army: Family Housing State Installation Purpose Total Hawaii Schofield Barracks 54 Units $10,000,000 North Carolina Fort Bragg 88 Units $9,800,000 Pennsylvania Tobyhanna Army Depot 200 Units $890,000 Texas Fort Bliss 64 Units $11,000,000 Fort Hood 140 Units $18,500,000 Total: $50,190,000 (b) Planning and Design.— Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2104(a)(5)(A), the Secretary of the Army may carry out architectural and engineering services and construction design activities with respect to the construction or improvement of family housing units in an amount not to exceed $2,963,000.
