SEC. 2241. NATIONAL BANK DIRECTORS. Section 5146 of the Revised Statutes of the United States (12 U.S.C. 72) is amended in the first sentence, by striking “except” and all that follows through the end of the sentence and inserting the following: “except that the Comptroller may, in the discretion of the Comptroller, waive the requirement of residency.”.
