Assistant Secretary for Human Development Services social services block grant For carrying out the Social Services Block Grant Act, $2,700,000,000. human development services For carrying out, except as otherwise provided, the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act, the Older Americans Act of 1965, the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, section 404 of Public Law 98–473, the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (title HI of Public Law 98–457), the Native American Programs Act, title II of Public Law 100–294 (adoption opportunities), title II of the Children’s Justice and Assistance Act of 1986, chapter 8-D of title VI of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981 (pertaining to grants to States for planning and development of dependent care programs), the Head Start Act, the Comprehensive Child Development Centers Act of 1988, the Child Development Associate Scholarship Assistance Act of 1985, and part B of title IV and section 1110 of the Social Security Act, $2,574,808,000, of which $12,000,000 shall be made available to carry out the State Dependent Care Development Grants Act (42 U.S.C. 9871 et seq.): Provided, That appropriations to carry out the Comprehensive Child Development Program under chapter 8, subchapter E of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981, shall be available notwithstanding section 670T(b) of that Act. payments to states for foster care and adoption assistance For carrying out part E of title IV of the Social Security Act, $1,119,907,000.
