Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, AIDS education programs funded by the Centers for Disease Control and other education curricula funded under this Act dealing with sexual activity— (1) shall not be designed to promote or encourage, directly, intravenous drug abuse or sexual activity, homosexual or heterosexual, and (2) in addition, with regard to AIDS education programs and curricula— (A) shall be designed to reduce exposure to and trans-mission of the etiologic agent for acquired immune deficiency syndrome by providing accurate information, and (B) shall provide information on the health risks of promiscuous sexual activity and intravenous drug abuse.
