SEC. 658. BORDER PATROL MUSEUM. (a) Authority.— Notwithstanding section 203 of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (40 U.S.C. 484) or any other provision of law, the Attorney General is authorized to transfer and convey to the Border Patrol Museum and Memorial Library Foundation, incorporated in the State of Texas, such equipment, artifacts, and memorabilia held by the Immigration and Naturalization Service as the Attorney General may determine is necessary to further the purposes of the Museum and Foundation. (b) Technical Assistance.— The Attorney General is authorized to provide technical assistance, through the detail of personnel of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, to the Border Patrol Museum and Memorial Library Foundation for the purpose of demonstrating the use of the items transferred under subsection (a).
