NO VERIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR NONPROFIT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS.

SEC. 508. NO VERIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR NONPROFIT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. Section 432 of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (8 U.S.C. 1642) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: “(d) No Verification Requirement for Nonprofit Charitable Organizations.—Subject to subsection (a), a nonprofit charitable organization, in providing any Federal public benefit (as defined in section 401(c)) or any State or local public benefit (as defined in section 411(c)), is not required under this title to determine, verify, or otherwise require proof of eligibility of any applicant for such benefits.”.
