AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 203. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. Section 310 of the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (42 U.S C. 10409) is amended— 110 STAT. 3090 (1) in subsection (b), by striking “80” and inserting “70”; and (2) by adding at the end thereof the following new subsections: “(d) Grants for State Coalitions.— Of the amounts appropriated under subsection (a) for each fiscal year, not less than 10 percent of such amounts shall be used by the Secretary for making grants under section 311. “(e) Non-Supplanting Requirement.— Federal funds made available to a State under this title shall be used to supplement and not supplant other Federal, State, and local public funds expended to provide services and activities that promote the purposes of this title.”
