SEC. 208. EFFECTIVE DATE. (a) In General.—Section 5907 (relating to regulations and effective date) is amended to read as follows: “§ 5907. Effective date “This chapter shall take effect 180 days after the date of enactment of the Intermodal Safe Container Transportation Amendments Act of 1996 ”. (b) Clerical Amendment.—The table of sections for chapter 59 is amended by striking the item relating to section 5907 and inserting the following: “5907. Effective date.”.
