SEC. 349. CLOUTER CREEK DISPOSAL AREA, CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA.(a) Transfer of Administrative Jurisdiction.—Notwithstanding any other law, the Secretary of the Navy shall transfer to the Secretary administrative jurisdiction over the approximately 1,400 acres of land under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Navy that comprise a portion of the Clouter Creek disposal area, Charleston, South Carolina. (b) Use of Transferred Land.—The land transferred under subsection (a) shall be used by the Department of the Army as a dredged material disposal area for dredging activities in the vicinity of Charleston, South Carolina, including the Charleston Harbor navigation project. (c) Cost Sharing.—Operation and maintenance, including rehabilitation, of the dredged material disposal area transferred under this section shall be carried out in accordance with section 101 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (33 U.S.C. 2211).
