SEC. 1032. RURAL ELECTRIC AND TELEPHONE FACILITIES. (a) In General.—Section 504(g) of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (43 U.S.C. 1764(g)) is amended by striking “financed pursuant to the Rural Electrification Act of 1936, as amended,” in the last sentence and inserting “eligible for financing pursuant to the Rural Electrification Act of 1936, as amended, determined without regard to any application requirement under that Act,”. (b) Effective Date.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to rights-of-way leases held on or after the date of enactment of this Act.
