National Archives and Records Administration operating expenses For necessary expenses in connection with the administration of the National Archives and records and related activities, as provided by law, and for expenses necessary for the review and declassification of documents, and for the hire of passenger motor vehicles, $199,633,000, of which $4,500,000 shall be available until expended for cataloging, archiving and digitizing activities: Provided, That the Archivist of the United States is authorized to use any excess funds available from the amount borrowed for construction of the National Archives facility, for expenses necessary to move into the facility. archives facilities and presidential libraries repairs and restoration For the repair, alteration, and improvement of archives facilities and presidential libraries, $1,500,000, to remain available until expended.
