ROADSIDE BARRIER TECHNOLOGY.

SEC. 328. ROADSIDE BARRIER TECHNOLOGY. Section 1058 of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 (23 U.S.C. 109 note; 105 Stat. 2003) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) by striking “median” and inserting “or temporary crashworthy”; and (B) by inserting “crashworthy” after “innovative”; and (2) in subsection (c)— (A) in the subsection heading by inserting “Crashworthy” after “Innovative”; (B) by inserting “crashworthy” after “innovative”; (C) by striking “median”; (D) by inserting “or guiderail” after “guardrail”; and (E) by inserting before the period at the end the following: “, and that meets or surpasses the requirements of the National Cooperative Highway Research Program 350 for longitudinal barriers”.
