Sec. 123. Activities necessary to effect the following program eliminations and transfers of selected functions are funded under the terms and conditions and at a rate of operations, notwithstanding any other provision of this title of this Act, provided for in the conference report and joint explanatory statement of the Committee of Conference (House Report 104–402) on the Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 1996 (H.R. 1977), as passed by the House of Representatives on December 13, 1995: All projects and activities under the account heading “Public Development” under the Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation; 110 STAT. 33 All projects and activities under the account heading “Mines and Minerals” under the Bureau of Mines in the Department of the Interior; All activities related to the transfer of functions from the Bureau of Mines under the account heading “Management of Lands and Resources” under the Bureau of Land Management in the Department of the Interior; All activities related to the transfers of functions from the Bureau of Mines and from the National Biological Service under the account heading “Surveys, Investigations, and Research” under the United States Geological Survey in the Department of the Interior; and All activities related to the transfer of functions from the Bureau of Mines under the account heading “Fossil Energy Research and Development” in the Department of Energy.
