SEC. 207. EXTENSION OF HEALTH PROFESSIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. (a) Extension.—Section 7618 is amended by striking out “December 31, 1997” and inserting in lieu thereof “December 31, 1998”. (b) Submission of Overdue Report.—The Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall submit to Congress not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act the report evaluating the operation of the health professional scholarship program required to be submitted not later than March 31, 1997, under section 202(b) of Public Law 104–110 (110 Stat. 770).
