Contingent Expenses of the Senate secretary of the senate (transfer of funds) For an additional amount for expenses of the “Office of the Secretary of the Senate”, to carry out the provisions of section 8 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 1997, $5,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2000, to be derived by transfer from funds previously appropriated from fiscal year 1997 funds under the heading “SENATE”, subject to the approval of the Committee on Appropriations.
