SEC. 303. DESIGNATION OF STATE AGENCIES. Section 4 of the Wagner-Peyser Act (29 U.S.C. 49c) is amended— (1) by striking “, through its legislature,” and inserting “, pursuant to State statute,”; (2) by inserting after “the provisions of this Act and” the following: “, in accordance with such State statute, the Governor shall”; and (3) by striking “United States Employment Service” and inserting “Secretary”.
