AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS

SEC. 201. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 1989 for the use of the Armed Forces for research, development, teat, and evaluation, in amounts as follows: For the Army, $5,198,444,000. For the Navy (including the Marine Corps), $9,383,162,000. For the Air Force, $14,680,825,000. For the Defense Agencies, $8,707,727,000, of which— (1) $155,900,000 is authorized for the activities of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense, Test and Evaluation; and (2) $123,400,000 is authorized for the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation.
