SEC. 487. NATIONAL STUDENT LOAN DATA SYSTEM. Section 485B(a) (20 U.S.C. 1092b(a)) is amended by inserting before the period at the end of the third sentence the following:“not later than one year after the date of enactment of the Higher Education Amendments of 1998”.
