HEALTH BENEFITS FOR ABUSED DEPENDENTS OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES.
SEC. 732. HEALTH BENEFITS FOR ABUSED DEPENDENTS OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES. Section 1076(e) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) by amending paragraph (1) to read as follows: “(1) Subject to paragraph (3), the administering Secretary shall furnish an abused dependent of a former member of a uniformed112 STAT. 2072 service described in paragraph (4), during that period that the abused dependent is in receipt of transitional compensation under section 1059 of this title, with medical and dental care, including mental health services, in facilities of the uniformed services in accordance with the same eligibility and benefits as were applicable for that abused dependent during the period of active service of the former member.”; and (2) in paragraph (3)— (A) by adding “and” at the end of subparagraph (A); (B) by striking “and” at the end of subparagraph (B) and inserting a period; and (C) by striking subparagraph (C).
