SEC. 2202. FAMILY HOUSING. (a) Construction and Acquisition.— Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2204(a)(5)(A), the Secretary of the Navy may construct or acquire 112 STAT. 2188family housing units (including land acquisition) at the installations, for the purposes, and in the amounts set forth in the following table: Navy: Family Housing State Installation or location Purpose Amount California Naval Air Station, Lemoore 162 Units $30,379,000 Hawaii Navy Public Works Center, Pearl Harbor 150 Units $29,125,000 Total $59,504,000 (b) Planning and Design.— Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriations in section 2204(a)(5)(A), the Secretary of the Navy may carry out architectural and engineering services and construction design activities with respect to the construction or improvement of military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $15,618,000.
