SEC. 2405. REPEAL OF FISCAL YEAR 1997 AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR CERTAIN MILITARY HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. (a) Authorization of Appropriations.— Section 2406(a) of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997 (division B of Public Law 104–201; 110 Stat. 2778) is amended— 112 STAT. 2197 (1) by striking out “$3,379,703,000” and inserting in lieu thereof “$3,374,703,000”; and (2) in paragraph (14), by striking out subparagraph (D). (b) Credit and Use of Funds.— Section 2404 of that Act (110 Stat. 2777) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) by striking out “(1)” before “Of”; and (B) by striking out paragraph (2); and (2) in subsection (b)— (A) by striking out “(1)” before “The”; (B) by striking out “subsection (a)(1)” and inserting in lieu thereof “subsection (a)”; and (C) by striking out paragraph (2).
