SEC. 3144. TRITIUM PRODUCTION. The Secretary of Energy may not obligate or expend any funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise available to the Department of Energy for fiscal year 1999 to implement a final decision on the technology to be utilized for tritium production, made pursuant to section 3135 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1998 (Public Law 105–85; 111 Stat. 2037), until October 1, 1999.
