SEC. 2812. BROOKE ARMY MEDICAL CENTER (a) Increase in Project Authority.—(1) Section 2401(a) of the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1987 (division B of Public Law 99–661; 100 Stat. 4034), is amended by striking out “$241,000,000” in the item relating to Fort Sam Houston, Texas, under the heading relating to Defense Medical Facilities Office and inserting in lieu thereof “$275,000,000”. (2) The limitation on the total cost of projects carried out under section 2401 of such Act is hereby increased by $34,000,000. (b) Conforming Amendment.—Section 2403(a)(2) of such Act is amended by striking out “, but the” and all that follows through “beds”.
