AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 201.

SEC. 10102. AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 201. (a) Term of Office.—The first sentence of section 201(a)(3) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 is amended to read as follows: “The term of office of the Director shall be 4 years and shall expire on January 3 of the year preceding each Presidential election.”. (b) Conforming change.—Section 201(e) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 is amended by inserting “and” before “the Library”, by striking “and the Office of Technology Assessment,”, by inserting “and” before “the Librarian”, and by striking “, and the Technology Assessment Board”. (c) Redesignation of Executed Provision.—Section 201 of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 is amended by redesignating subsection (g) (relating to revenue estimates) as subsection (f).
