SEC. 132. LOANS FOR DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS. (a) Authorization of Appropriations.— Section 724(f)(1) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 292t(f)(1)) is amended by striking “$15,000,000 for fiscal year 1993” and inserting “$8,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1998 through 2002”. (b) Repeal.— Effective October 1, 2002, paragraph (1) of section 724(f) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 292t(f)(1)) is repealed.
