RELEASE OF CONDITION RELATING TO CONVEYANCE OF A CERTAIN HIGHWAY.

SEC. 156. RELEASE OF CONDITION RELATING TO CONVEYANCE OF A CERTAIN HIGHWAY. Notwithstanding paragraph (1) of subsection (b) of section 146 of the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1970 (84 Stat. 1739) and any agreement entered into under such subsection, no conveyance of any road or portion thereof shall be required to be made under such paragraph or agreement to the State of Maryland and the State of Maryland shall not be required to accept conveyance of any such road or portion. Funds authorized by such section may be obligated and expended without regard to any requirement of such paragraph or agreement that such conveyance be made.
