MICRO-SATELLITE TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

SEC. 215. MICRO-SATELLITE TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. (a) Establishment of Micro-Satellite Technology Development Program.—The Secretary of Defense shall restructure the Clementine 2 micro-satellite development program into a microsatellite technology development program that supports a range of space mission areas. (b) Report.—Not later than February 15, 1998, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report describing the structure and objectives of the micro-satellite technology development program established under subsection (a) and how the program can benefit existing or future space systems or architectures.
