RESTRICTION ON UNDEFINITIZED CONTRACT ACTIONS.

SEC. 803. RESTRICTION ON UNDEFINITIZED CONTRACT ACTIONS. (a) Applicability of Waiver Authority to Humanitarian or Peacekeeping Operations.—Section 2326(b)(4) of title 10, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: “(4) The head of an agency may waive the provisions of this subsection with respect to a contract of that agency if that head 111 STAT. 1832of an agency determines that the waiver is necessary in order to support any of the following operations: “(A) A contingency operation. “(B) A humanitarian or peacekeeping operation.”. (b) Humanitarian or Peacekeeping Operation Defined.—Section 2302(7) of such title is amended— (1) by striking out “(7)(A)” and inserting in lieu thereof “(7)”; and (2) by striking out “(B) In subparagraph (A), the” and inserting in lieu thereof “(8) The”.
