ELIMINATION OF CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR GRANTS.

SEC. 809. ELIMINATION OF CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR GRANTS. Section 5153 of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 (Public Law 100–690; 102 Stat. 4306; 41 U.S.C. 702) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) in paragraph (1), by striking out “has certified to the granting agency that it will” and inserting in lieu thereof “agrees to”; and (B) in paragraph (2), by striking out “certifies to the agency” and inserting in lieu thereof “agrees”; and (2) in subsection (b)(1)— (A) by striking out subparagraph (A);111 STAT. 1839 (B) by redesignating subparagraphs (B) and (C) as subparagraphs (A) and (B), respectively; and (C) in subparagraph (A), as so redesignated, by striking out “such certification by failing to carry out”.
