SEC. 521. AUTHORITY TO RETAIN ON THE RESERVE ACTIVE-STATUS LIST UNTIL AGE 60 MILITARY TECHNICIANS IN THE GRADE OF BRIGADIER GENERAL. (a) Retention.—Section 14702(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking out “section 14506 or 14507” and inserting in lieu thereof “section 14506,14507, or 14508”; and (2) by striking out “or colonel” and inserting in lieu thereof “colonel, or brigadier general”. (b) Technical Amendment.—Section 14508(c) of such title is amended by striking out “not later than the date on which the officer becomes 60 years of age” and inserting in lieu thereof “not later than the last day of the month in which the officer becomes 60 years of age”.
