SEC. 112. ELIGIBILITY FOR CARE OF COMBAT-INJURED VETERANS. Chapter 17 is amended— (1) in section 1710(a)(2)(D), by inserting “or who was awarded the Purple Heart” after “former prisoner of war”; and (2) in section 1705(a)(3), by inserting “or who were awarded the Purple Heart” after “former prisoners of war”.
