Sec. 502. For an additional amount for “Assistance for Eastern Europe and the Baltic States”, $50,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2001: Provided, That this amount shall only be available for assistance for Montenegro and Croatia, and not to exceed $12,400,000 for assistance for Kosova: Provided further, That the amount specified in the previous proviso for assistance for Kosova may be made available only for police activities: Provided further, That funds made available in the preceding provisos shall 114 STAT. 540be available subject to the regular notification procedures of the Committees on Appropriations: Provided further, That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended.
