SEC. 3407. SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS. Subpart III of part B of title XIX of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300x—51 et seq.) (as amended by section 3305)is further amended by adding at the end the following: “SEC. 1956. SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS. “States may use funds available for treatment under sections1911 and 1921 to treat persons with co-occurring substance abuse and mental disorders as long as funds available under such sections are used for the purposes for which they were authorized by law and can be tracked for accounting purposes.”.
