SEC. 413. INCREASE IN NUMBER OF MEMBERS IN CERTAIN GRADES AUTHORIZED TO BE ON ACTIVE DUTY IN SUPPORT OF THE RESERVES (a)Senior Enlisted Members.—(1) The table in section 517(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: “Grade Army Navy Air Force Marine Corps E-9 517 175 125 13 E-8 2,295 390 425 74“. (2) Effective on October 1, 1988, that table is amended to read as follows: “Grade Army Navy Air Force Marine Corps E-9 529 180 150 13 E-8 2,350 400 425 74“. (b) Officers.—(1) The table in section 524(a) of such title is amended to read as follows: “Grade Army Navy Air Force Marine Corps Major or Lieutenant Commander 2,550 850 575 105 Lieutenant Colonel or Commander 1,152 520 322 70 Colonel or Navy Captain 348 185 184 25“.
