SEC. 1435. EFFECTIVE DATE. This chapter, and the amendments made by this chapter, shall apply with respect to— (1) an entry of a prototype under heading 9817.85.01, as added by section 1433(a), on or after the date of the enactment of this Act; and (2) an entry of a prototype (as defined in U.S. Note 6(a) to subchapter XVII of chapter 98, as added by section 1433(b)) under heading 9813.00.30 for which liquidation has not become final as of the date of the enactment of this Act.
