SEC. 205. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. Section 216 of the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 3020f) (as redesignated by section 202) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) by striking “(a) Administration.—” and inserting “(a) In General.—”; (B) by striking “1992” and all that follows through the period and inserting “2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005”; and114 STAT. 2235 (C) by inserting “administration, salaries, and expenses of” after “appropriated for”; and (2) by striking subsection (b) and inserting the following: “(b) Eldercare Locator Service.—There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out section 202(a)(24) (relating to the National Eldercare Locator Service) such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the 4 succeeding fiscal years. “(c) Pension Counseling and Information Programs.—There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out section 215, such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001 and for each of the 4 succeeding fiscal years.”.
