SEC. 305. SACRAMENTO RIVER, GLENN-COLUSA, CALIFORNIA. (a) In General.—The project for flood control, Sacramento River, California, authorized by section 2 of the Act entitled “An Act to provide for the control of the floods of the Mississippi River and of the Sacramento River, California, and for other purposes”, approved March 1, 1917 (39 Stat. 949), and modified by section 102 of the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, 1990 (103 Stat. 649), section 301(b)(3) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1996 (110 Stat. 3110), and title I of the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, 1999 (112 Stat. 1841), is further modified to authorize the Secretary— (1) to carry out the portion of the project at Glenn-Colusa, California, at a total cost of $26,000,000, with an estimated Federal cost of $20,000,000 and an estimated non-Federal cost of $6,000,000; and (2) to carry out bank stabilization work in the riverbed gradient facility, particularly in the vicinity of River Mile 208, if the Secretary determines that such work is necessary to protect the overall integrity of the project, on the condition that additional environmental review of the project is conducted.
