SEC. 311. BROWARD COUNTY AND HILLSBORO INLET, FLORIDA. The project for shore protection, Broward County and Hillsboro Inlet, Florida, authorized by section 301 of the River and Harbor Act of 1965 (79 Stat. 1090), is modified to authorize the Secretary, on execution of a contract to construct the project, to reimburse the non-Federal interest for the Federal share of the cost of preconstruction planning and design for the project, if the Secretary determines that the work is compatible with and integral to the project.
