SEC. 340. NEW YORK CITY WATERSHED. Section 552 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1996 (110 Stat. 3779) is amended—113 STAT. 308 (1) in subsection (d), by striking “for the project to be carried out with such assistance” and inserting “, or a public entity designated by the State director, to carry out the project with the assistance, subject to the project’s meeting the certification requirement of subsection (c)(1)”; and (2) in subsection (i), by striking “$22,500,000” and inserting “$42,500,000”.
